St. Louis Bike Federation Swap Meet
Get ready for the new season and get some great deals. The Bike Swap features big bike shops clearing stuff out at great prices and individuals selling used parts and gear at great discounts. Well worth the trip, you'd be amazed how much stuff there is at this thing. It is also a great place to go if you're looking to pick up a used bike. The event is held in Collinsville on Sun., Jan 27. Starts at 10:00 for the best deals (I know, tough with field ed) but goes until 4:00. I'm heading out there after Bible study. As of today there are more than 100 booths reserved for the Swap Meet on Sunday. This includes bike shops and individuals selling bikes and bike related items at clearance prices. Also involved are not-for-profit organizations providing information about cycling in the StL region.
The Swap Meet is held at the Gateway Convention Center in Collinsville, Il - about 20 minutes by car from the seminary. Hours are 10:00am until 4:00pm. Cost is $7 at the door, $6 for advanced tickets. All current St Louis Bike Fed members are admitted free. Children under 18 are admitted free as well.
There will be good deals for everyone regardless of your skill level.
